EARLY INTERVENTION POSITION
The Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities serves families of children birth through 2 years of age whose child is experiencing a developmental delay. Our team is expanding in response to an increase in referrals and has an opening for a Developmental Specialist.
Our supports occur in the family's natural environment and are designed to enhance the capacity and competency of the caregiver as the child's first and best teacher.
The Developmental Specialist position works within a multi - disciplinary team conducting eligibility evaluations, child and family assessments, and providing evidence-based strategies to promote the child's participation in the family's routines. A Bachelor's Degree is required in child development, education, health, social or behavioral science, social or human services, or related field. Experience in infant and toddler development and special needs is required.
This position is full-time and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation is based upon experience.
The Board will assist qualified candidates in obtaining additional necessary certifications.
